How Far Out Do I Have To Book?

We suggest that you book as soon as you can as party timeslots can book out over the weekends. Parties are not confirmed until a $100 deposit has been paid. Individual missions can be booked as late as the same day depending on availability and staffing.

What is a cure?

A cure will stop the infection process, and there is only a limited amount that can be obtained. If you notice yourself getting infected, use your cure by holding in the button under the barrel of your phasor.

Can the zombies be eliminated?

Yes! Each zombie starts with 50 lives. If they run out of lives they will be deactivated until a fellow zombie finds them and tags them. Doing so will give the deactivated zombie an extra boost and allow them to continue infecting the remaining survivors.

Can I gain my lives back?

No, there is no way to regain lives in this gamemode. If you get tagged enough by the zombies, eventually you will be infected.

What is a streak?

A streak is the amount of tags you have accomplished without being conquered, Each time you are conquered, your streak will reset.

What happens when all players are conquered?

If all players are conquered, each player will be randomly sorted into new, even teams.

Can I gain my lives back?

Yes, each successful tag will give you 0.5 lives back, and you can reach a maximum of 4 lives at any given time.

What happens when I get tagged?

Your battlesuit will power down, losing all lights and abilities for 6 seconds. After these 6 seconds it will reactivate and you can continue playing.

What happens if I tag a teammate?

If you do manage to accidentally fire upon a teammate in this gamemode nothing will happen, and both battlesuits will remain active.

Can I use my member powerups?

Member powerups are enabled in this gamemode, but can only be used against players who are also high enough level to obtain that powerup (e.g: missiles can only be used against players lvl 4 and above)

What happens then?

You invite your guests, invites provided, and you will receive a call on the Monday before the party to confirm numbers and your hot food choice. Final payment is taken during the party.

Some Missions Have Age Restrictions?

Underworld Laser has a minimum age of 6 years old. (Children 6 years old can play if accompanied by an adult).There is no maximum age to play the game – even grandparents can have a go.

Health And Safety Rules And Restrictions?

Underworld Laser can be played at your own pace but it is a quick game and your team can dictate the rate of the game.

There is no reason to be rushing around the areas (in fact, we don’t allow you to run). As long as you are comfortable with exercising for 15 minutes and you can get yourself up our ramps, (DDA compliant) then you’re probably fit enough to play.

Of course, as only you can be a judge of whether you are able to play – the final responsibility rests with you.

Any recent injuries should be noted on your waiver and you must satisfy yourself that you are fit to play. This is a mildly aerobic activity.

Dress Code?

Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes

Underworld Laser can be highly physical and appropriate dress must be worn.

We recommend sneakers/joggers with good grip. ALL SHOES MUST BE ENCLOSED. No bare feet, no thongs, no sandals, no high heels.

Please come suitably dressed to avoid disappointment as we reserve the right to refuse entry. If in doubt, please contact us for the more information.

What Protective Clothing Is Required?

We recommend that players wear a shirt with sleeves (not a singlet) as our vests are made of a commercial grade material.

Game Venue Rules?

No drugs or alcohol is to be consumed on site or before any of the games. You will be asked to leave the facility immediately should this rule be ignored.

How Old Do You Have To Be To Play?

We have games for 6 years old and up. Parents can join in with safety vest on if the children’s group are new or nervous.

How Many People Does The Arena Hold?

The arena can hold a maximum of 25 people.

Will There Be Other People With Me In The Arena?

With a party booking you are guaranteed the arena to yourselves. With an individual mission there may be other people in the arena with you

How do I book a casual session?

What do I need to do on the day?

There is nothing that you have to do on the day as the party host will do everything for the party. You can sit back and enjoy your child’s party and at the end you can leave the mess to us.Your package includes your own party room, all food/drinks, entertainment, ice cream cake and lolly bags.

Will There Be Group Discounts?

There may be group and occasionally promotional discounts. The best savings will be for members.

How Long Is Each Mission?

Each mission consists of a 3-minute briefing and kit-up, 10 minutes of arena time and a 2-minute debrief.
